Apgart muss nicht sein ist aber besser und das Kernelmodul wird von X
geladen.

Also bei mir macht die Karte nur 16-Bit bei 24/32 verweigert sie
3D-Beschleunigung (glxinfo).

Die wesentlichen Teile für 3D meiner XF86Config-4:


	Load       "glx"
 	Load       "dri"

	Driver "radeon"

	DefaultDepth 16

	Section "DRI"
 	    Mode 0666
	EndSection
